  • Family Engagement Survey/Encuesta de Participación Familiar

    We need your input!

We are always looking to find new and better ways to help our families to be involved in their children’s education.  Below is a link to a survey about your experiences with Mansfeld Magnet Middle School.  If you have not already done so, please take a few moments to complete this survey.  If you have children at more than one school, please complete the survey for each of your children’s schools.  We will use this information to help us plan for future family engagement opportunities.  The survey is available until January 4, 2021.  Your responses will remain confidential.

    Thank you for your help!

  • Additional Food Pantry Option

We are proud to announce the opening of a new Stop & Shop Pantry at Catalina Family Resource Center. It is a small pantry, but it is filled with lots of great items. The new Food Choice Pantry will be open to registered TUSD families. The pantry is for food insecure families in need of support. We will not verify income; it will be open to any TUSD family expressing need. Visitors will be able to shop for their own choice of food which includes perishable and nonperishables food items. Please see the attached flyer and forward it to all families at your site. Our Family Resource Center still operates its original Food Pantry through the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona that families are still welcome to come visit if they have a need for food.

Families may call our center for more information, but we have included some quick important info here:

    • Visitors must have a student registered at a TUSD school
    • Families can visit the new pantry 1x per month
    • All visitors need to follow TUSD and the CDC safety recommendations: wear a mask, wear their mask properly, maintain social distancing, do not touch face, low touch
    • It is highly recommended families call to schedule an appointment
    • Because we rescue items from local grocery stores, items and quantities will vary
